Youth on Course:

Would you like to play Poppy Hills, San Juan Oaks, Bayonet/Blackhorse, etc. for $5? All you need to do is renew your NCGA membership through SVJGA for $2. You can have an NCGA membership through more than one association. So, if you are a member at Salinas Fairways or Rancho Canada, you can also be a member with SVJGA. Only your membership through SVJGA, The First Tee of Monterey County or Santa Cruz County Jr. Golf will allow you the $5 rates. That is because we are members of the Youth on Course program that is offered through the NCGA. You must be a member of an association that is affiliated with Youth on Course to get the discount. Green Fee Program:

SVJGA would like to offer you $5 off of your green fees at Salinas Fairways. This program is available to all juniors playing in our Gold, Silver, and Bronze tournaments. Call Rusty at 444-0306 and she will send you 3 free cards, each good for $5 off your green fees when you play Salinas Fairways. These cards will be distributed 3 at a time, good for 3 months. When you need more, call again.

Range Ball Program:

You may purchase a card good for 5 large buckets of golf balls to be used at Salinas Fairways, Twin Creeks, or Salinas Golf & CC.  These will now be separate cards.  You do not need to be a member of SG&CC.  The cards can only be used at the specified golf course.  Each card has a value of $40.  You pay only $17.50.  You may purchase as many cards as you like.  Fill out the form and return with a check.  The cards will be mailed to you.  The balls that are purchased with these cards are to be used by junior members only.  If we find non-members or adults hitting these balls, your range ball card privileges will be revoked.

Rules Clinics:

It is mandatory for everyone except Green players to sign up for a Rules Clinic before playing in a tournament. If you have already taken a Rules Clinic, or if you are a member of AT&T or Santa Cruz Jr. Golf, you are exempt. The same rules are not covered at each clinic. Knowing the rules is a big part of the game. If you know them well, you can use them to your advantage.  Please check the schedule to see when the next rules clinic will be.

Lessons:

If you are interested in taking lessons, contact Rusty.  You may sign up for  five (5) one-hour group lessons for $40.  You must be a paid member of SVJGA to take lessons. Lessons will be conducted at Twin Creeks or Salinas Golf & CC.  Dates and time to be determined.
