SVJGA would like to thank the Northern California Golf Association for their very generous grant of $1,200. It will help us to continue our many programs. The NCGA also brings us the Youth on Course program which allows you $5 and $2 green fees at over 80 golf courses. For more info, go to www.ncga.org. |

Three of our juniors have been accepted to play golf for D-1 colleges. Matthew Ogden will play for University of the Pacific. Taylor Camany will play for Santa Clara University. Haley Andreas will play for University of Arizona. Way to go!! We wish you all the best. |

Thank you to everyone who donated to our organization during the Birdies for Charity campaign. Your contributions totaled $549.60. To that, Monterey Peninsula Foundation added 10%, bringing our total to $604.56. Thank you to Monterey Peninsula Foundation. Look for this unique fund raising program again next year during the AT&T National Pro-Am. |
| Would you like to play
Poppy Hills, San Juan Oaks, Bayonet/Blackhorse, etc. for $5? All you
need to do is renew your NCGA membership through SVJGA for $2. You can
have an NCGA membership through more than one association. So, if you
are a member at Salinas Fairways or Rancho Canada, you can also be a
member with SVJGA. Only your membership through SVJGA, The First Tee of
Monterey County or Santa Cruz County Jr. Golf will allow you the $5
rates. That is because we are members of the Kids on Course program that
is offered through the NCGA. You must be a member of an association that
is affiliated with Kids on Course to get the discount. For more info,
please call Rusty at 444-0306. |

| Due to a generous grant from the Harden Foundation, SVJGA was able to purchase a limited supply of new golf clubs. We have three different sizes to accommodate all age groups. If you are in need, call Rusty at 444-0306. But please remember, these clubs will be on loan to you. You are welcome to use them as long as you remain a member of SVJGA. |
