Salinas Valley Junior Golf Association was
founded in October, 1994 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
The mission of Salinas
Valley Junior Golf Association is to prepare, develop and provide
opportunities for competitive junior golfers, guided by etiquette and the rules
of golf.
Our yearly
membership now averages 200-300 junior golfers between the ages of 6 and
18. There are many benefits to being a member
of SVJGA. (Programs and Tournaments)
Membership must be renewed annually with an updated application.
Membership expires on December 31, regardless of when you join.
Effective December, 2007, The First Tee, SVJGA, and AT&T Jr. Golf will
be offering a triple membership. You may still join SVJGA only for
$30, or the First Tee of Monterey County only for $95, or AT&T Jr.
Golf only for $25.
Or you can join all three organizations for $125 and enjoy a $25 savings.
With a triple membership, you will also receive an NCGA handicap card at no extra cost. Please make sure that you include your current NCGA number (if you have one) on your application. You may also renew your NCGA card by joining only TFTMC or SVJGA. This card will allow you to post your scores at each of the courses that you play and have an official handicap. This card also allows you discount green fees at Bayonet, Laguna Seca, Poppy, etc.
