SVJGA
Dress Code:
Dress code policy is enforced at ALL of our tournaments and clinics.
Parents must also follow dress code at Salinas Golf & CC and Corral de Tierra CC.
We appreciate that these two private clubs allow us to use their courses. Please help us to thank them by showing respect for their rules.
- Soft spikes or tennis shoes
- Collared shirts tucked in (no tank tops)
- Slacks or golf shorts (no blue jeans, sweat pants, or short shorts)
It is wonderful when spectators support our junior golfers. In order to be fair to everyone, please keep the following rules in mind:
1. You are a spectator only. Your child must carry his own clubs or pull his own cart.
2. You must refrain from talking to, socializing with or giving advice to any junior player.
3. Acknowledgement of good shots for all players, not just your child are acceptable.
4. You must stay 25 yards from the competitors, using cart paths or staying to the sides of fairway. You are never to be on the tee blocks or the putting greens.
5. You must not get involved in any rules decisions during competitive play. All decisions must be that of the junior.
6. Following play, all rules decisions will be made by the attending golf pro or the Executive Director.
7. If you see a rules infraction or a breach of etiquette, please bring it to the attention of the Executive Director.
8. If your child has a scorekeeper, let him handle all rulings.

| We would also like to thank the many people, businesses, and organizations that have contributed to our program. We sincerely appreciate their interest and support of our junior golf program. Also, to the golf professionals who provide instruction and guidance to our junior members, we say thank you. Your involvement is essential to our continued success. And finally, to the area golf courses that very generously allow us the use of their facilities to conduct our many events, we say thank you. Without your support, involvement, and commitment, we simply would not have a program. |
